Nichts ist besser als das Original
„Dinners in the Dark“ erfreuen sich seit geraumer Zeit großer Beliebtheit. In Frankfurt gibt es das „Taste of Darkness“, in Zürich und Basel lädt die „Blinde Kuh“ zum Essen ein, in Köln darf der Gast in der „Unsicht-Bar“ speisen, in Berlin bleibt im „Nocti vagus“ das Licht aus und in Paris, London und Moskau macht das „Dans le Noir“ Furore. Allen ist gemein, dass sie auf einem Konzept aufbauen, welches bereits 1993 beim Theaterfestival in Avignon Premiere feierte. Dort produzierte Michel Reilhac den Schwerpunkt „Dark/Noir“, um im Umfeld von „Dialog im Dunkeln“ weitere Dunkelexperimente zu wagen. Auch das „Dinner in the Dark“ wurde aus dieser sehr ertragreichen Zusammenarbeit von uns entwickelt und erweitert nun die Palette für alle „Dialoge im Dunkeln“. Nichts ist besser als das Original – im Hellen wie im Dunkeln.
Nothing is better than the original
For a fairly long time Dinners in the Dark have enjoyed great popularity. In Frankfurt there is the “Taste of Darkness”, in Zürich and Basel the “Blinde Kuh” invites you to come in and enjoy a nice meal, in Cologne the guests can eat in the “Unsicht-Bar”, in Berlin there is no light in the “Nocti Vagus” and in Paris, London and Moscow the “Dans le Noir” is very popular. All of them are based on the same concept which was presented to the public for the first time at the theatre festival in Avignon in 1993. Over there Michel Reilhac produced “Dark/Noir”, to venture more experiments in the dark in the sphere of influence of “Dialogue in the Dark”. Our “Dinner in the Dark” was yet another development that emerged from this fruitful cooperation. It has broadened the range for all “Dialogues in the Dark” ever since. Nothing is better than the original – both by light and in the dark!
